GCN 2018: #MTSOatGCN

We’re going to GCN!!

Wait, what is GCN?

GCN is the Gay Christian Network. From their site:

Founded in 2001, GCN is an international network of Christians working for fully inclusive Christian community and a world where all people are treated as the beloved children of God. It is our mission to transform attitudes toward LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) people and bring about a day when the church is the biggest ally and defender of LGBTQ people rather than a chief opponent.

Who’s “we” and why are you going?

“We” is the dynamic duo of MTSO superstars, Josh Stokes and yours truly! We each received a Student Enrichment Program grant from MTSO to attend this year’s GCN conference in Denver, CO, to participate in workshops and be in fellowship with other Christians across the geographic and theological divide to learn and work toward a fully affirming Body of Christ. We will bring back the stories and lessons that we collect and share them with the MTSO community in a way that is yet to be determined–hopefully, a presentation or worship experience that will capture the energy and transformation of the conference!

How can we follow your shenanigans?

We’ll blog here, individually and together, throughout the trip! You can also check us out on social media by following our accounts (below) or searching for #MTSOatGCN.
